Jim Abercrombie


Jim Abercrombie spent the last 12 years involved in the financial markets in Chicago. During this time Jim personally traded over 800 billion dollars of US Treasury securities. In addition to trading Jim has significant experience valuing and investing in companies, from start-ups to well established businesses. He brings deep financial knowledge and business strategy experience to the Trek10 team. Jim has a bachelor's degree in Economics from Wabash College and he is a CFA Charterholder. Jim is an AWS Certified Solutions Architect.

Michael Barney

DevOps Engineer

Michael started his career out in the serverless world, joining the Trek10 team right out of college - a true Serverless Native. As a passionate developer and open source contributor, Michael co-authors AWSume and helps maintain several of Trek10's open source projects. Michael has a degree in Computer Science from Indiana University and is an AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional. During his free time, Michael enjoys leveling up his knowledge on Machine Learning, when he's not learning more about the AWS platform.

James Bowyer

CloudOps Engineer

James Bowyer graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a degree in Computer Science, and brings to Trek10 expertise in security and automation from his experience working under an ISSO in a traditional data center setting in Maui, HI. James is focused on applying his knowledge alongside established best practices to better leverage next-gen tools and AWS services, specifically AWS Lambda, on behalf of Trek10's CloudOps clients. When not experimenting with new technology, James enjoys watching football, playing cards, and writing. James is an AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional.

Andy Warzon


Andy Warzon has 16 years of experience in the IT industry and startups. An engineering graduate with honors of the University of Notre Dame, Andy founded the technology team of Better World Books, a groundbreaking social enterprise and one of the largest used booksellers in the world. Andy is an AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional and a recognized expert on IaaS strategy and implementation.

Ryan Scott Brown

Lead Architect

Ryan has bounced back and forth between using and building cloud-focused tools at Ansible, Hudl, and Google. Ryan also teaches serverless courses on A Cloud Guru, and is a Serverless Framework contributor. Ryan earned an Applied Networking and Systems Administration degree from Rochester Institute of Technology, and is an AWS Certified Solutions Architect.

Mitchell Bryant

Team Support Cloud Engineer

Mitchell has 8 years’ experience working in IT in support and sysadmin roles, where he’s been involved in multiple on-premises infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and virtualization. Mitchell graduated from Western Governors University (WGU) with a degree in Software Development. When he’s not improving his tech knowledge, Mitchell loves being outdoors and spending time with his family. Mitchell is an AWS Certified SysOps Administrator and Solutions Architect.

Aaron Caito

Professional Services Lead, Principal Cloud Architect

Aaron draws on over 15 years of industry experience from Small Business to Enterprise, 7 years of business ownership, 5 years of AWS experience, and exposure to a variety of business types and practices to guide and lead our Professional Services team. He has firsthand experience with both operations and development and is always looking towards the future to identify and evaluate technologies that align with business. Aaron is an AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional and AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional.

Jeff Carter

Proserv Enterprise Engineer

Jeff has over 10 years of experience in software development. Though he started off working in the public sector, he quickly transitioned to private companies where his time was mainly spent designing and implementing SaaS based solutions on AWS. In his spare time, Jeff enjoys spending time with his family, keeping up with new technology trends, playing board games, and biking.

Brenden Judson

Team Support Cloud Engineer

Brenden recently graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a degree in computer science. Through his internships and undergraduate research, Brenden has instilled a rich background in cloud services and has multiple publications on related topics. He especially enjoys combining his passion for IoT and various areas of artificial intelligence with cloud services to create new, unique products. Outside of the office, Brenden is constantly exploring new technologies, conducting personal development, and participating in a variety of athletics. Brenden is an AWS Certified Solutions Architect.

Brandy Coomer

Client Success Lead

Brandy brings 20 years of experience in customer support, web development, R&D, business development, sales, quality control, and management to Trek10. She served Bashpole Software for seven years and eventually led them as President and COO. She has experience and has professionally tutored college students in System Modeling and Design, Database Management, and Web Development. She previously offered web-based consulting services and has served as a technical executive. She holds a Bachelor’s in Web Development and a MBA.

Shane Fimbel, Ph.D.


Prior to joining Trek10, Shane served as Chief Operating Officer of Global Access Point. During his tenure, he closed debt and equity transactions of over $35M and built operations achieving consistent annual revenue growth of 40-50% by expanding services in the data center, cloud infrastructure, and fiber optic network space. Shane earned his Doctorate in Neuroscience from the University of Notre Dame and his bachelor’s degree in from Wabash College where he currently serves on Board for the Center for Innovation, Business, and Entrepreneurship.

James Foley

CloudOps Process Engineer

James comes from a background in operations and process improvement with over 12 years of experience working in various industries. An intraprenuer at heart, James has been instrumental in developing multiple subsidiaries for companies, including the first international office for Better World Books. James attended Indiana University. He is a member of the CloudOps team and working to improve internal processes within Trek10 with a focus on scalability. James is an AWS Certified Solutions Architect.

Christopher (Kreece) Fuchs

Vice President

Christopher "Kreece" Fuchs brings over 14 years of e-commerce industry and start-up experience to the team. An engineering graduate from the University of Notre Dame, Kreece co-founded and grew Better World Books into one of the world’s leading Internet retailers. Kreece is an entrepreneurial, creative problem solver and applies his technical and analytic abilities to drive new product development and customer solutions at Trek10. Kreece is an AWS Certified Solutions Architect.

Joel Haubold

Senior Cloud Architect

Joel graduated with top honors from Indiana University with a degree in Computer Science. Prior to joining Trek10, Joel accumulated over five years of experience developing desktop applications. Since joining Trek10, Joel became one of the first individuals ever to earn the Docker Certified Associate (DCA) certification, and his expertise in building serverless architectures on AWS has contributed heavily to Trek10's leadership position in this space. Joel is married and has four wonderful children. Joel is an AWS Certified Solutions Architect and DevOps Engineer - Professional.

Ryan Farina

Team Support Cloud Engineer

Ryan has a Degree in both Computer Science & Engineering, and Mathematics from The Ohio State University. He has worked for Fortune 100 organizations where he was constantly tasked with solving unique technical problems and building process automations. Ryan assisted with building out data streaming processes, data lakes, and a data warehouse in cloud technologies. He also designed and built custom implementations for applications which focused on self-service, scalability, and security. Outside of work, Ryan enjoys playing soccer and spending time with his wife and daughter.

Carlos Lemus

Senior Engineer

Carlos has over five years of experience implementing Internet-of-Things (IoT) ecosystems in the manufacturing and supply chain industries and has been involved in the research, development, and market deployment of IoT solutions. Additionally, he has deployed 100% serverless production-grade workloads on AWS for a Fortune 100 company. Carlos is an AWS Certified Solutions Architect.

Mike Norris

CloudOps Engineer

As an avid technologist, music aficionado, and burrito connoisseur, Mike has spent the last 10 years entrenched in everything from tiny consumer electronics to large enterprise infrastructure. Staying on the cutting edge and adapting to the constantly evolving digital landscape is Mike’s top priority. When he isn’t burying his face in a computer, one can find Mike enjoying the finer things in life such as playing guitar/drums, Rocket League, and blogging about consumer electronics and technology (so he’s really never not in front of a computer). Mike is an AWS Certified Developer.

Lucas Pearson

Cloud Engineer

Lucas loves all things technology. He has set his focus on the cloud and AWS is the place to be. With a background in infrastructure and development for small and large deployments he looks to help clients at Trek10 have success in the cloud. Lucas graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer and Networking Technologies from Purdue University. He is an avid gamer (especially VR) and enjoys time with his family playing board games. He also volunteers, working with High School youth as well as 5th and 6th graders in his community. Lucas is an AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate.

Tony Reyes

Director of Sales

Tony Reyes as spent the last 15 years helping customers transform their businesses by adopting cutting edge technology through software and services. At Trek10, Tony's role is to continue on that track record and increase client adoption of Trek10's offerings through sales and partnership efforts. Tony holds a BA from Wabash College and an MBA from the Illinois Institute of Technology's Stuart School of Business.

Rob Ribeiro

DevOps Engineer

Rob has spent his career honing his interpersonal, technical, and problem solving skills. He spent 5 years in customer service and management, followed by over 5 years in software development and consulting. He has experience working and consulting for everything from startups to Fortune 500 enterprises in a variety of industries including manufacturing, healthcare, and finance. Rob has earned a MS in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science from Indiana University and a BS in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Purdue University. Rob is an AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional.

Dave Russo

Director of Team Support

Dave graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a Management Information Systems degree. He has spent the majority of his career developing large scale dynamic web solutions for companies from small startups to Fortune 500 enterprises. Over the past 18 years he helped create a small Lean Six Sigma online training company and turn it into its industry leader. The last few years his focus has been on cyber security and project management. In his spare time he enjoys building websites for friends, participating in sports he is probably too old to still be playing, and spending time relaxing with his wife and coaching their 3 children.

Jeanie Ryu

Client Success Manager

Jeanie graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a degree in Business - Information Technology Management. It was during her senior year she took a course taught by Trek10's Josh von Schaumburg, and became interested in AWS and the work that Trek10 does. Right after graduation, she joined Trek10 as a Client Success Intern before transitioning into a Client Success Representative. Aside from learning about AWS, Jeanie also enjoys learning new languages and aims to become multilingual. Jeanie is an AWS Certified Solutions Architect.

Jared Short

Sr. Cloud Architect, Developer Acceleration

Jared is an accomplished software developer across multiple platforms, with over a decade of experience working with startups to fortune 100 companies. He works with the technology on a daily basis, and believes that the paradigm will drive a new age of computing with faster, more cost effective, and easier to manage infrastructure. Jared is an AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional and an AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional.

Scott Fulnecky

Business Development

Scott began his lifelong entrepreneurial journey at a young age with just a lawnmower and a Midwest-sized work ethic. Prior to Trek 10, he co-founded a solar startup that won multiple awards and grants from the US Department Of Energy. Along with that spirit and work ethic comes over 15 years of experience in sales across multiple industries including Solar and Fin Tech. Scott attended the University of Arizona where he studied business administration. He enjoys working on home improvement projects in his free time.

Aaron Vernon

Business Development

Prior to joining Trek10, Aaron developed a FinTech startup concept focused on combatting predatory lending, encouraging savings, and improving financial health for the underbanked. Aaron brings consulting experience with city and county governments to the team. Aaron is a Class of 2016 undergraduate of Mendoza College of Business. Aaron has a passion for entrepreneurship and he's also a great cook and basketball player.

Josh von Schaumburg

Customer Solutions Lead, Senior Solutions Architect

Josh brings significant technical expertise to the team, having worked as a Security Solutions Architect for Accenture's Technology Consulting practice for 4 years, where he worked on a variety of implementations for several Fortune 500 clients across many industries. Specifically, Josh has designed and scaled complex solutions in the fields of cloud security, IAM, endpoint security, among others. Josh also has a background in networking and is CompTIA Network+ certified. Josh has multiple years of experience in the AWS ecosystem and is currently focusing on sales engineering and continuing to scale Trek10's professional services team. Josh is an AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional.

Murphy Dudevoir

Team Support Cloud Engineer

Murphy graduated from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs with a Bachelor of Innovation in Game Design and Development and a minor in Computer Science. He brings to Trek10 a desire to expand his field of expertise and help the company grow to the same degree it helps him. Murphy dedicates his free time to gaming, both as a developer and a consumer. Murphy is an AWS Certified Solutions Architect.

Adam Baker

Team Support Cloud Engineer

A strong focus on Serverless brought Adam to Trek10 after 8 years working with startups of varying stages in the US, New Zealand and his native Australia. His enthusiasm for Serverless stems from his desire to deliver value quickly and reliably. When he’s not trying to keep up with the latest AWS news, he stays busy wrangling his three young sons.

Emma Gettinger

Marketing & Special Projects

Emma studied at Saint Mary’s College where she was sole student in her class to graduate with two separate bachelor’s degrees: a BBA with a Marketing concentration and a BA in Music. She has helped build the marketing and brand profiles for a variety of organizations within the Michiana area. When she has time, she enjoys baking and spending time with her family.

Lebbaeus Davidson

Business Development

Lebbaeus is a self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit. He brings over 8 years in the Telecommunications and 9 years in the web industry to the Trek10 Team. Throughout the years he's enabled businesses to scale by leveraging technology and consulting methods to transform sales teams in to high performing operations. His work with the worlds leading Telecommunications companies has enabled him to achieve record revenue goals by connecting businesses, brands, and people to the products, data, and solutions that matter most to them.

Nessan Harpur

Client Success Manager

Born and raised in Ireland, Nessan brings a blend of technical expertise, business acumen and project management experience to the Trek10 team. Nessan led a European sales initiative for a data center provider, successfully sold data privacy solutions to companies across the US and project-managed the complex buildout for a blockchain data center tenant. Nessan graduated with a distinction from his masters degree in social robotics at Trinity College Dublin and also has a masters in Entrepreneurship from the University of Notre Dame.

Christopher Beaufils

Team Support Cloud Engineer

Christopher is a recent 2-time graduate from the University of Notre Dame, with a bachelor's in computer science and a master's from the ESTEEM program, centered on entrepreneurship and innovation in tech. He is a true Serverless Native, introduced to the magic of AWS through the inaugural Trek10 Launch Program that helped him become an AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate. Christopher spent the past year running a technical and design consultancy for early stage startups and is excited to continue delivering sustainable solutions by leveraging the diverse, powerful services AWS has to offer. In his free time, Christopher is a passionate musician, an avid sports fan and athlete, and a film & tv enthusiast.

Charlie Guse

DevOps Engineer

Charlie has over 10 years of software development experience, ranging across startups to companies of more than 1,000 employees. He has experience transitioning desktop software to SaaS solutions and has deep expertise building and working with web APIs/services, including Reddit’s, eBay’s, and Amazon’s (AWS, MWS, and Product Advertising) APIs. Charlie graduated from Indiana University with honors and four publications. Charlie is an AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional.

Amber Hipskind

Staff Accountant

Amber brings to Trek10 contagious energy and an extensive amount of experience in supporting companies in the areas of finance, accounting and administration. She has honed her skills by working with international organizations, small family businesses and everything in between. When she's not working with the Trek10 team, she is with her "home team" of her husband and four sons.

Robert Ramsey

Team Support Cloud Engineer

Before coming to Trek10, Robert spent 5 years working as a full stack developer in various roles, including as a consultant to several Fortune 500 companies. Robert lives in South Bend with his wife, and spends his free time fixing old espresso machines and Japanese cars.

Amy Negrette

Cloud Architect

With ten years industry experience, Amy Arambulo Negrette has built web applications for a variety of industries including Yahoo! Fantasy Sports and NASA Ames Research Center. One of her projects modernized two legacy systems impacting the entire research center and won her a Certificate of Excellence from the Ames Contractor Council. She currently resides in Chicago taking care of a full house and pitching in as an organizer in the local tech scene.
