Tim Van de Walle

Family Man. Avid Cyclist. Coffee Enthusiast.

Tim has worked in the software industry as an engineer and leader for over 25 years. He has worked on everything ranging from cellular phones (when the primary app was "phone") to a SaaS platform for the delivery of audiobooks. He has been working with AWS since 2012 when he lead the effort to move his company's SaaS application from a datacenter to AWS. His passion for AWS and how it can enable people to build amazing software lead him to Trek10 where he will be helping customers realize the transformative benefits of AWS.

When he's not in front of a computer screen, Tim is an avid cyclist who enjoys the riding the roads (paved and gravel), mountain bike trails, and Zwift (when the weather turns miserable). He can also be found making and enjoying an aeropress or pour over in the morning or watching his kids at a swim meet or volleyball tournament. Tim graduated from the University of Notre Dame with degrees in Computer Engineering and Philosophy, from the University of Pennsylvania with a Masters in Electrical Engineering, and from Case Western University with an MBA.
